This
step van has a lot of money invested, make your gain my loss. Just
some dings, minor dents, one glass spidered on the drivers side
windshield ( it's flat, relatively cheap to replace) and flaking
paint because we used cheaper paint, inside and outside, because of
its age. We wanted to paint it purple for the kids We used the wrong
paint, because it is flaking off inside and outside. It also has a
Straight V-6 engine that is not original, but no records for mileage
because of the engine replacement was 4 years ago, low mileage, a
few years ago. Straight 6's are work horses meant for heavy vending
trucks.
The
compressor for the cold plate freezer system probably needs a good
cleaning, but I just tested it 8/2/2026, and when I started the
inside temperature was around 88 degrees, after running it for almost
3 hours, the temp inside dropped down to 30 degrees, very nice.
It
would need a good sanding and painting to your liking, inside and
out. It also includes a /music box and exterior music horn and slow
for children sign. The 2 rear doors are stiff to open and will
probably need new hinges and latches. It also has some hang up
shelving to sell chips and snacks.
I
paid $1700.00 dollars for repairs before it sat for the last few
years.
The
engine fired up right up after 2 years, only being charged 3 months
ago. (also has a van power cut off switch under the hood to save
battery power and help prevent theft).
But
definitely needs a new radiator, transmission fluid and filter
change. Will run strong again. Especially with the brand-new
carburetor installed.
After
research the radiator could cost $200-$300, plus labor.
It
has sat for almost 2 years in my driveway after leaving the garage
for final repairs.
Here
is what I have invested in this truck so far.
I
paid $7000.00 for this step van, not including paint and other stuff.
Here
is a list of things done before it was parked last 6/11/2024.

will show the bill as well.
The
truck dimensions are, width is approx. 81 inches, full length 17
feet, from behind drivers seat to back is 101/2 feet and inside
standing room is approx. 7 feet high.
This
is a great project for a home mechanic that wants an investment in
their family. Can be repaired on my property after payment for a week
to drive it away or you can tow it wherever you want.
I have worked in the mobile food business for over 25 years, hot dog cart, shaved ice and hot dog truck, etc. I am disabled now, and bought this to help my income, but can't right now.
The bottom line is the step van has good bones.
Let my loss be your gain.
Right now, I am selling this for $4500.00 without fixing the repairs need, but if I have to, in the near future, the price will change to $8000.00 to $10000.00 if I fix it myself of take on a partner. Thanks.
Cash only at pick up time. Thanks
